What is the Pretty Witty Cakes Affiliate Program
Our Affiliate Program is something anyone who is approved can use which allows you to earn commissions on sales referred to Pretty Witty Cakes. We provide you with links which we can track and therefore record which purchases on our website originated with a link posted by you - for example a link you might put on facebook or your website or in a newsletter. We provide you with custom links and banners that you can post on your website. When a visitor on your website follows the link and makes a purchase on our website, we pay you commission on the sale.
How do I earn Affiliate income?
To earn affiliate income, simply make sure that your include the links we provide you with and the banners whereever you can - your website, your social media pages, your footer in your email and so on. The more links you put out there the more you will earn.
How does it work?
When visitors click on your Affiliate link, a small cookie will be placed on their computer that tells our site that they have come from your referral - as if by magic! Once they buy something, that purchase will be logged against your account in the Affiliates Control Panel if they have bought any of the accepted products from our site.
Will the cookie last forever?
The cookie is set to remain for 30 days. But you can repost the link as often as you like thus re-instating the cookie over and over. If you send someone to our website but they make no purchase then return at a later date and DO then purchase, this will still be added to your account as a sale and you will earn commission provided they return and make a purchase within 60 days.
Are there any caps on the income I can generate as an Affiliate?
There are no caps to the income you can generate being a Pretty Witty Cakes' Affiliate. It just depends on how many people sign up to the online tutorial membership through your link. The more you put up your link and send referrals, the more likely money will be added to your Affiliate account. This is a very fair system as the great numbers of you who have been saying such lovely things about us for years can now be rewarded.
How do I apply to become an Affiliate and How do I sign up?
Becoming an Affiliate is easy. If this already sounds right for you, then you can sign up straight away! To sign up you have to become a member of the ShareASale Affiliate Network, which is our third-party provider and administrator. You become a Pretty wItty Cakes Affiliate during the process of signing up through ShareASale. Please note that your application will be approved faster if you use an email address that matches the website in your profile (i.e. [email protected] and www.abcde.com ). Click here to SIGN UP .
How do I know if I have been approved by ShareASale?
Once you have signed you your application will be reviewed and you will receive a welcome email from ShareASale. Please check your spam if you have not received this.
How do I set up my links?
You first add a banner or text to your your website, it will be tagged with your unique ShareASale ID. We will provide banners and information on the ShareASale Affiliate Page which you can access once you’ve been approved.
Where can I find out how much I have earned?
This is something you control without our input. Once you have logged into your Control Panel, click on “Commissions” and this will provide you with a list of all the referrals that we have registered. You will be able to see the total you have earned at any time.
How and when do I get paid?
You get paid directly by our affiliate provider Share A Sale - a well known company based in the USA:. All payments are originally recorded in dollars but will be converted as they arrive in your bank account if you prefer to receive in your own currency. ShareASale organises all payments and will pay you monthly provided you have earnt more than $50. If you earn less you will be paid once you reach this threshold. You will be aid directly via BACS or by cheque on the same day each month.
Is my website eligible for the Affiliate Program?
Almost all website are accepted as affiliates but we reserve the right to refuse membership or revoke a membership at any time at our sole discretion.
Can I become an Affiliate no matter where I live?
Yes. Provided ShareASale supports your country of residence, you can be an affiliate
If I have more than one website, do I need to apply separately for each one?
No. When applying list all of your websites on your application and all can be dealt with together.
How much commission do you pay?
We do not work in percentages. Instead we provide you with a much more predictable set fee for each sale made. There are no "uncertain percentages" but just guarantees fixed payments. You can earn commission on all sales of subscriptions whether monthly, yearly, premium or lifetime. The rates are set out below.

Therefore, if you were to, for example, post on a facebook or twitter post or any other link and 10 people purchased a monthly subscription, you would be paid $40.00 (approximately £24.00. If 10 people purchased a yearly subscription you would be paid $250.00 (approximately £150.00). If 10 people purchases a premium subscription you would be paid $500.00 (approximately £295.00). If 10 people purchased a lifetime subscription, you would be paid $1000.00 (approximately £590.00).
What is the average order size?
Our average subscriber is a yearly member paying with an average order size of $50 or £30.
Do I receive discounts on membership if I an an Affiliate?
No. But you do receive a 5% discount on all shop products on our website. Simple contact us to request this. Should you be a high referring affiliate, we will offer further rewards.
Is there a minimum number of sales you need to make?
No. You can make as few or as many as you wish. However, we only send you a commission payment once you earn $50 in commission.
How can you tell when I should be paid?
ShareASale is a sophisticated affiliate scheme provider and has amazing software which tracks a cookie that is automatically placed on a computer of a person who clicks on a banner or text link that has your affiliate ID number embedded within it. If that person then later goes to the Pretty Witty Cakes website and makes a purchase (een if it is many days later) this will be recorded against your ID and you will be paid commission.
Is there a full reporting system?
Yes. This is organised by and you can review this. ShareASale will provide real-time tracking of your clicks, sales and commission. You need to contact ShareASale for this information as we cannot provide it directly to you as your account is private between you and ShareASale.
