This Project is all about creating a realistic novelty cake for someone who is perhaps exercise mad! The videos will cover everything you need to know about this cake, how to carve and cover a cake, decorations and detailing. Once you have mastered these skills, you will be able to make all sorts of box still cakes using similar techniques.

What you will learn

This Project is all about perfecting a carved novelty style cake that appeals to those who want something a little more unusual in design. You will learn:

• How to make a realistic drinking bottle
• How to work with rice krispies treats
• How to create a mode dumbell with various biscuits and sweets
• How to make the sports bag
• How to avoid carving a cake to meet the shape of your needs and use other medium to sculpt instead
• How to use a embossing matt for fabric effects.
• How to create stitch effects with a wheel tool.
• How to paint using silver dust and alcohol.

This cake involves minimal carving!  At the end of the Project you will have a fabulous cake that with a real wow factor.
